Automatic Sprinkler Installations
Firemate is a registered and approved sprinkler installer with the Automatic Sprinkler Inspection Bureau (ASIB), registered in the category as ‘supervising Installer’ with in-house designers, a fabrication workshop and pipe fitters. All fabrication and installation work is done by our own workforce. We are able to design and install an Automatic Sprinkler System for any commercial or industrial application. Pumps and tanks can be sized to offer the most suitable and cost effective sizes, including welded steel tanks and galvanized sectional steel tanks.
All Systems are designed to one the following standards: SABS 0287, ASIB, NFPA or BS/EN.
Fire Detection and Gaseous Fire Protection
Firemate designs, supply and install conventional and addressable fire detection systems to the current BS 58039 (SABS0139) rules for all types of applications such as L1, L2, L3, P1, P2 and M which are the various design standards for life safety and property protection with evacuation Systems. Fire Protection Gases are designed to BS 6266 and ISO 14520. All installation work is administered by our own work force. We supply and maintain most Fire Panels on the Market Including Edwards System Technologies (Canada/USA), Appolo (UK) and Ziton & Aritech Equipment (RSA).

Firemate Systems cc was registered in 1995. Our experience spans across at least four decades of fire protection on major industrial and commercial projects around Southern Africa & Africa (including Ghana, Tanzania, Mocambique & Uganda).
We regularly upgrade and alter our systems and products in the rapidly evolving market, keeping abreast of changes in design products and legislation in the Fire Protection / Detection & Gas Suppression Industry to ensure that unsurpassed quality and service is offered.

FM200, Inergen (IG541), IG 55, CO2 Installations and NAF S125, Conveyor Protection, Transformer Protection, Fuel Tank Protection, Steel Water Reservoirs, Fire Pumps etc.
Special Risks such as high, medium velocity spray systems and foam systems are amongst the systems which have been designed and installed by Firemate.
